This role is an escalation point for specialist expertise to triage and resolve cases within our service delivery model. It requires working knowledge and experience in the job discipline with moderate guidance and direction.

  • Address escalated payroll inquiries and review/approve transactions as applicable.
  • Support employees and managers ensuring correct data flow between HR disciplines and payroll, focusing on continuous improvements.
  • Analyze data and improve processes documenting all steps necessary for payroll operations.
  • Manage monthly payroll cycles in an outsourced environment reviewing payroll process and calculation collaborating with our representative.
  • Process and control social security income tax and regulatory reports.
  • Attend internal and external payroll audits Sox government etc.
  • Reporting & analytics as required.
  • Payroll project management as leader and individual contributor.
  • Hands-on solutions and improvements for payroll operations and relationships.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting finance business administration or related areas.
  • Payroll knowledge for calculations legislation and documentation keeping process documents for any payroll activity in our global database documentation must be in English.
  • Strong knowledge of legal payroll requirements in Mexico.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to details.
  • Support Latin America employees in case of urgent matters replacing another team member as necessary.
  • Advanced MS Excel skills to manage metrics calculations and analysis.
  • Advanced or fluent English for verbal and written communications to support operations in LA and contact with global teams and international payroll vendors.
