Senior Director of Pre-Award Operations

Job Summary:

This senior leadership role oversees the full pre-award lifecycle, ensuring seamless negotiation, setup, and compliance for all incoming sponsored awards.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead negotiation and review of incoming sponsored agreements
  • Oversight of award setup and account establishment in Cayuse and Workday
  • Compliance and risk management, including identification of high-risk terms
  • Process sponsor-driven amendments and modifications
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred
  • 10+ years in research administration; 5+ years in leadership roles
  • Proven ability to manage the full pre-award lifecycle
  • Strong understanding of federal regulations and sponsor-specific guidelines
  • Experience with electronic research administration platforms
