Manufacturing Optimization Specialist

This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the development and optimization of our state-of-the-art manufacturing systems.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining efficient manufacturing processes that meet or exceed quality standards.

  • Develop and improve manufacturing methods using knowledge of product design, materials, fabrication processes, tooling, and production equipment capabilities.
  • Plan work force utilization, space requirements, workflow, and designs layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency.
  • Apply statistical methods to estimate future manufacturing requirements and potential.
  • Design, install, or troubleshoot hydraulic systems and components.
  • Program and integrate manufacturing machinery and equipment to increase production quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with design engineering and other cross-functional teams to refine product designs and improve producibility and reduce costs.
  • Identify opportunities or implement changes to improve products or reduce costs using knowledge of fabrication processes, tooling, and production equipment, assembly methods, quality control standards, or product design, materials, and parts.
  • Ensure all manufacturing safety regulatory policies and procedures are implemented and maintained at all times.
Requirements:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role.
  • Strong knowledge of hydraulics and proven experience with hydraulic systems.
  • Proficiency in programming and integrating manufacturing machinery and equipment.
  • Demonstrated ability to design efficient manufacturing workflows and processes.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to clearly convey complex manufacturing processes to a diverse group of stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in CAD software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard health and safety regulations.
