At Cognizant, we're looking for a skilled Desktop Support Specialist to join our team. As a Desktop Support Specialist, you will work directly with our teams to achieve good results and improvements through the service and support offered.

### Key Responsibilities

* Provide physical access to suppliers on demand to site/communication rooms, IDF/MDF/MMR and Data Center/server room.
* Advanced troubleshooting capabilities to identify the root cause of the incident reported by end users for IT devices and mobility support/management.
* Installation and configuration of hardware and software components to ensure usability by end users.
* Manage IT asset lifecycle management for the site/region, including coordination of asset collection with vendor, secure storage, tagging, imaging, allocation, recovery, hygiene validation, disposal and system upgrades.
* Coordination of cable patches with suppliers or activation on demand.
* Ensuring that basic network connectivity (LAN), Wi-Fi access, Tandberg video, printer and voice are available on site.
* Advanced troubleshooting capabilities for AV devices (projectors, microphones, speakers, amplifiers, cameras and monitors).

As a Desktop Support Specialist, you will work closely with our teams to provide top-notch support and service. You will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, installing and configuring hardware and software, and managing IT assets.
