MongoDB Specialist

Job Summary

We seek a skilled MongoDB expert to fill this key position. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with both community and enterprise editions of MongoDB, as well as strong proficiency in English and Spanish.

The successful applicant will be responsible for installing and configuring MongoDB software, creating and upgrading replica sets manually and using OPS Manager, backing up and restoring data using mongodump and mongorestore, and performing day-to-day troubleshooting in MongoDB.

Additionally, the candidate will need to stay up-to-date with the latest developments in MongoDB and perform performance tuning and migration of MongoDB databases as required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install and configure MongoDB software
• Create and upgrade replica sets manually and using OPS Manager
• Backup and restore data using mongodump and mongorestore
• Perform day-to-day troubleshooting in MongoDB
• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in MongoDB
• Perform performance tuning and migration of MongoDB databases

Requirements:

• Advanced level in English and Spanish
• Experience on community edition and Enterprise edition
• Installation of MongoDB software
• Replica set creation/upgrade manually
• Replica set creation/upgrade from OPS Manager
• Backups and restore using mongodump and mongorestore
• Day to day troubleshooting in MongoDB
• Performance tuning
• Migration of MongoDB databases
