Agile Coach

This role involves supporting various teams by utilizing Agile methodologies. Effective partnership between the Agile coach and the team members is crucial for success, and this position requires a leader with a servant-leadership mindset who can identify needs, remove impediments, and contribute to ensure team performance and success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leading Global Teams: Utilize Agile methodology (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) to manage multiple global cross-functional teams on various projects.
  • Sprint Events: Manage and facilitate sprint ceremonies to support development and product releases.
  • Product Shaping/Scope Management: Support the product owner in managing the product backlog, provide education where needed, and help in dependency management to better manage releases.
  • Stakeholder Management: Partner, collaborate, and manage team stakeholders, vendors, and dependent teams.
  • Planning and Coaching: Help teams accomplish Sprint goals & PI OKRs by following ceremonies and planning/estimation of epics in Agile tools, lead planning increment sessions to establish scope and build release plans, and coach squads in self-organization.
  • Impediment Management: Identify dependencies and blockers, track, and help remove them accordingly.
  • Progress tracking and Metrics: Setup and review metrics to drive progress, note anti-agile patterns through metrics, and coach/steer teams accordingly.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree or Higher: From an accredited college/university.
  • Experience in Building Data Platforms and Solutions: 4+ years of experience in building data platforms and solutions.
  • Transformation Program Leadership: 5+ years leading large-scale transformation programs (leveraging Agile or Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)), involving business process and change, organization change, and multiple large-scale technology components.
  • Certified Scrum Master or Certified Scrum Professional: Certification in Scrum Master (CSM) or Certified Scrum Professional (CSP).
  • Coaching Experience: Experience in coaching Product owners in Product backlog health, prioritization, etc.
  • System Development Life Cycle Understanding: Strong understanding of the system development life cycle.
