Senior Compliance Specialist

This senior-level compliance specialist position requires a seasoned professional with experience in complex defined contribution plan administration and compliance across multiple departments. As a key member of the team, you will lead new business calls to provide document review and consultative services related to plan documentation.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Perform detailed reviews of plan documents to ensure compliance and identify potential risks.
  • Serve as a compliance resource across various departments including sales, marketing, and operations.
  • Consult with internal legal counsel on document design and customized service agreement language.
  • Assist with department training and coordinate training topics and trainers.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum 12 years of experience in complex defined contribution plan administration.
  • Knowledge of laws and regulations related to qualifying and non-qualifying plans (IRS, DOL, ERISA, etc.).
  • ASPPA designations or similar certifications.
  • Excellent written and oral communication, organization, and client service skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
