A key member of our team is required to fill the role of Senior Accounting Professional. This position plays a critical part in ensuring that financial transactions, statements, and records are accurate and up-to-date.

Key Responsibilities

  • To compile, prepare, and review month-end accruals, including posting journal entries in accordance with ASC606 guidelines.
  • To ensure timely and accurate recognition of revenue in compliance with contract terms and internal corporate guidelines.
  • To generate monthly fee invoices in our accounting system and provide commentary on aging invoices.
  • To resolve past due items and maintain accurate balance sheet reconciliations.
  • To collaborate with internal and external teams to meet client and corporate business needs.
  • To assist in year-end close activities to ensure compliance with contract deliverables and meet finance KPI.
  • To oversee cash activity by monitoring bank account deposits, issuing payments, maintaining funding logs, and recording cash entries.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Advanced accounting and analytical skills.
  • A strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other spreadsheet applications.
  • Experience with real estate accounting software (JDE, MRI, Skyline, and/or Timberline).
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required, along with 3-5 years of accounting experience and some real estate experience preferred.

Compensation

$85,000 - $95,000 per year.
