Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer to collaborate with our clients' teams in implementing and optimizing data-driven maintenance strategies for critical rotating equipment in the Oil & Gas sector.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in predictive maintenance, reliability, and diagnostics of rotating equipment, with advanced skills in vibration analysis, spectra interpretation, and condition monitoring data.

  • Analyzing inspection and test data, focusing on vibration analysis (including spectra) and lubricant analysis to detect early signs of equipment failure.
  • Diagnosing equipment condition and recommending corrective and predictive maintenance actions.
  • Creating work notifications and service orders in CMMS to ensure accurate execution of maintenance activities.
  • Evaluating intervention effectiveness by analyzing results and calculating avoided costs.
  • Developing technical reports and performance indicators related to equipment and maintenance strategy.
  • Maintaining and updating technical case studies in Shape Lighthouse, ensuring traceability and knowledge retention.
  • Collaborating integrally with offshore teams, client engineering and planning, and Shapes remote specialists.
  • Supporting continuous development and enhancement of predictive maintenance strategies.

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, or related fields.
  • Proven experience in predictive maintenance, reliability, and diagnostics of rotating equipment.
  • Advanced skills in vibration analysis, spectra interpretation, and condition monitoring data.
  • Knowledge of lubricant analysis and interpretation of physicochemical and particulate parameters.
  • Familiarity with maintenance management systems such as SAP PM, Maximo, or equivalents.
  • Experience with asset monitoring systems like OSIsoft PI, SCADA, or similar.

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Previous experience in offshore environments.
  • Knowledge of industry standards such as API, ISO, NR-13.
  • Experience with failure analysis methodologies (FMEA, RCA, RCM).
