Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Database Administration Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for the performance, security, and availability of our databases.

You will work closely with various teams to ensure database standards are upheld, implement robust backup and recovery policies, and conduct database tuning and performance monitoring to support business continuity and system optimization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Database Server Management: Install, maintain, and troubleshoot database servers to ensure optimal performance.
  • Database Security: Develop and implement secure database access controls, replication strategies, and encryption methods.
  • Performance Tuning: Analyze database performance metrics, identify bottlenecks, and optimize database systems for improved efficiency.
  • Database Upgrades: Plan, implement, and test database upgrades to ensure seamless transitions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree: In computer science or a related field.
  • Experience: Over three years in database administration, information technology, or a related field.
  • Certifications: MCSE/MCSA certifications are highly desired.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in English is required.
