As a Database Administration Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the performance, integrity, security, and availability of databases within our organization.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing, implementing, and maintaining database systems to meet business needs
  • Developing and enforcing database standards and policies to ensure data consistency and integrity
  • Collaborating with terminal and regional infrastructure teams to identify and resolve database-related issues
  • Implementing robust backup and recovery strategies to minimize data loss
  • Performing database tuning and performance monitoring to optimize system efficiency
  • Managing database access and permissions to ensure secure and authorized access
  • Diagnosing and troubleshooting database errors to ensure prompt resolution

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field
  • Over three years of experience in database administration, information technology, database architecture, or a related field
  • MCSE/MCSA certifications are preferred
  • Experience with Windows Server environments is also preferred
  • Excellent communication skills and fluency in English are essential
  • Adaptability to different cultures and willingness to travel are required
