Job Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team in the role of Ship Agency Administrator.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage cargo documentation processes to facilitate vessel berthing and the safe loading and unloading of cargo.
  • Prepare export Bills of Lading and necessary documentation for cabotage shipments.
  • Provide information regarding cargo arrival to the Consignee and the Shipper.
  • Ensure timely issuance and release of Bills of Lading, guaranteeing vessel berthing.
  • Input cargo information into Customs and Company systems and declare shipments in Portal Único.
  • Monitor compliance with local port authorities' requirements and maintain organized documentation files.
  • Support the finance team by providing controls for invoicing and tracking charges.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Knowledge of Siscomex, Mercante, PSP, and Portal Único.
  • Understanding of Customs and Foreign Trade regulations/laws.
  • Strong communication skills in English (both written and oral).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage workloads.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
