We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as an Inventory and Cost Accountant. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a global network of financial professionals, building on your current skills and exploring opportunities for career growth.

  • Responsible for complete and accurate accounting for all Inventory, Distribution, Costing and Other Costs Not in Standard (OCNIS).
  • Manage Inventory & Distribution costs, including focusing on reserves, revaluations, and adjustments, partnering closely with Supply Chain colleagues.
  • Responsible for Local Fixed Assets Accounting to ensure complete and accurate accounting for all tangible and intangible fixed assets process flows and standardization of the process to follow global taxonomy.
  • Responsible for Local Intercompany process flows for stock and non-stock transactions and standardization of the process to follow global taxonomy.
  • Responsible for overseeing Local Travel and Expense Administration and standardization of the process to follow global taxonomy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Timely closing & execution of financial periods as per closing calendar and in accordance with SLA commitments, fully observing Compliance, Internal Audit & SOX requirements.
  • Accountable for completeness, accuracy and validity of the actuals reported within process/entity scope.
  • Driving deep expertise, ensuring team are fully knowledgeable of the Worldwide Procedures and compliance requirements for respective areas.
  • Generate ideas, foster, and implement continuous improvement mindset, identifying and pursuing process efficiency opportunities.
  • Execute global Strategy & Solutions in line with taxonomy.
  • Influence and Execute process improvements, generating ideas and implementing them in line with global standards.

Leadership and People Management

  • Attract, develop, and retain a highly competent, high-performing, motivated and diverse team.
  • Develop succession plans for and support career development of the team.
  • Ensure effective performance management within team.
  • Lead a team of 6+.

Travel

  • Up to 10-20% international travel.
Requirements
  • A minimum of a bachelor's level degree or equivalent is required, preferably in accounting or finance.
  • CPA, CMA, MBA and/or other financial certifications are preferred.
  • Fluent English, other language skills desirable.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • At least 4 years of professional experience is required.
  • At least 2 years of Management / Supervisory experience is required.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with employees at all levels.
  • Strong Analytical Skills.
  • Be open to new ideas, rapid change and embracing new technologies.
