Senior Cloud Data Architect

This is a fully remote position requiring strong expertise in data engineering, including experience with Azure tools and technologies.
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience as a data engineer, with a strong focus on writing complex SQL and transformations.
Responsibilities include providing solutions for various integrations and data preprocessing, supporting sustain activities on data assets, and integrating data from different sources into the enterprise data foundation.
Additionally, the successful candidate will need to follow up on issues with stakeholder teams, work on user stories assigned for data ingestion into bronze and silver tables, and coordinate with data governance, steward, and modeling teams as needed.
A strong knowledge of DevOps CI/CD, RDBMS, and data warehousing concepts is required. Proficiency in Python, PySpark, and SQL tuning within a data lake environment is essential.
Nice to have skills include experience with Azure solution architecture, Tableau, and PowerBI.
- Provide solutions for various integrations and data preprocessing.
- Support sustain activities on data assets developed within the domain.
- Integrate data from different sources into the enterprise data foundation.
- Follow up on issues with stakeholder teams for resolution.
- Work on user stories assigned for data ingestion into bronze and silver tables.
- Coordinate with Data Governance, Steward, and Modeling teams for any questions.
- Track backlog tech debt items in the POD and collaborate with the Scrum Master to create stories for each iteration.
