Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Field Service Technician to join our team. As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for providing after-sales service support for our combustion systems within a designated area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Preventative maintenance of our combustion systems
  • Emergency support and after-hours support
  • Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting
  • Hardware-based automation support and commissioning support for vapor recovery, combustion, and product loading equipment
Qualifications and Experience:
  • A high school diploma or technical school certificate with courses in technologist or mechanical instrumentation engineering is required
  • 5+ years' experience in the oil and gas sector is necessary
  • Availability for national and international travel is essential
  • Intermediate/advanced English and/or Spanish (writing and conversation) are required
Technical Skills:
  • Solving complex problems is crucial
  • Desirable knowledge of combustion equipment is an asset
  • Microsoft Office, Excel, and Word skills are necessary for preparing detailed and organized technical reports
  • A general understanding of computer networking applications is important
  • Basic knowledge of PLC programming and hardware trouble shooting is required
  • Effective communication through interpreting technical documents and expressing terminology, phrases, and simple language is vital
  • Electrical skills or at least three years of experience are necessary
