Medical Affairs Role in LATAMThis is a challenging opportunity to support the Global Emerging Markets Business Unit Franchise in achieving its goals. The successful candidate will lead, direct and support activities that bring about changes in clinical practice, supporting the increased adoption of key brands, products and services.Key Responsibilities:Drive the GEM Medical Affairs strategy in LATAM by driving robust KOL management strategies, fostering strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders across LATAM, and facilitating engagements in medical affairs initiatives.Provide high quality, clinical insight-driven medical and scientific expertise to support the development of content for advisory boards, scientific symposia, presentations and publications.Establish and strengthen relationships with key opinion leaders, medical societies and other relevant stakeholders, and develop a strategy outlining key evidence and publication requirements for LATAM.Contribute to scientific articles, abstracts, and outcomes-based presentations and publications to exemplify the services and products of the company, and lead the creation and delivery of educational materials and training programs for medical, sales, and marketing teams.Aligning and informing the global evidence generation strategy on LATAM needs, identifying and developing the evidence generation needs/gaps and plans to obtain and maintain patient access and integrate them into the evidence generation strategy.Collaborate with the Clinical Research Team/s to ensure proper conduct of LATAM based clinical trials, and collaborate with the regulatory affairs team to ensure timely approvals and market access for wound care products.A degree in nursing – Wound and Ostomy Care is preferred, candidates having a MD / PhD in life sciences degree may be considered. Strong command in Spanish, Portuguese and proficiency in English (speaking and written) is desirable.Previous experience in the medical device, biotechnology, and tissue biologics of the healthcare industry is required, comprehensive knowledge of the Wound, Ostomy and/ or Continence care therapeutic landscape, with a strong understanding of Latin American medical landscape is highly desirable.Strong understanding of regulatory requirements, clinical trial design, and evidence generation in LATAM, expertise in scientific communication, including publications, conference presentations, and medical education.Exceptional quantitative, analytical, and written skills, excellent negotiation skills for a wide variety of audiences, including sales and marketing leadership.What You'll Get:Competitive salary + bonus, training & development, collaborative, supportive culture.
