
Latin America Medical Affairs Leader

As a Medical Affairs Manager, you will be responsible for driving the global strategy for medical affairs in Latin America. This role requires strong leadership skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a robust KOL management strategy to foster strong relationships with key opinion leaders across Latin America.
- Facilitate KOL engagements in medical affairs initiatives, including advisory boards and scientific symposia.
- Provide high-quality clinical insight-driven medical and scientific expertise to support content development for advisory boards, scientific symposia, presentations, and publications.
- Establish and strengthen relationships with key opinion leaders, medical societies, and other relevant stakeholders.
- Develop a strategy outlining key evidence and publication requirements for Latin America.
- Contribute to scientific articles, abstracts, and outcomes-based presentations and publications to exemplify services and products.
- Lead the creation and delivery of educational materials and training programs for medical, sales, and marketing teams.
- Align and inform the global evidence generation strategy on Latin America needs, identify and develop evidence generation needs/gaps, and plans to obtain and maintain patient access.
- Collaborate with the Clinical Research Team/s to ensure proper conduct of Latin America-based clinical trials.
- Collaborate with the regulatory affairs team to ensure timely approvals and market access for wound care products.
Requirements:
- Strong degree in nursing – Wound and Ostomy Care is preferred; MD/PhD in life sciences degree may be considered.
- Proficiency in Spanish, Portuguese, and English (speaking and written) is desirable.
- Previous experience in the medical device, biotechnology, and tissue biologics of the healthcare industry.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the Wound, Ostomy, and/or Continence care therapeutic landscape, with a strong understanding of the Latin American medical landscape.
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements, clinical trial design, and evidence generation in Latin America.
- Expertise in scientific communication, including publications, conference presentations, and medical education.
- Exceptional quantitative, analytical, and written skills.
- Excellent negotiation skills for a wide variety of audiences, including sales and marketing leadership.
