Dangerous Goods Compliance Expert

Amazon's Dangerous Goods team is seeking a skilled Senior Risk Manager to oversee the planning and execution of dangerous goods compliance projects, while ensuring operational performance in Brazil. This role requires strategic thinking, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with internal stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will have experience driving process improvement with technology in a global setting, as well as expertise in managing regulations and standards from various agencies such as ANTT, ANAC, INMETRO, DOT, ADR, and IATA.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure DG products meet applicable local and global regulatory requirements.
- Strategize with internal stakeholders to support business expansion.
- Develop and maintain best-in-class standard operational processes.
Requirements:
- Completed bachelor's degree in business, engineering, operations or similar graduate degree.
- Program management experience including cross-team coordination, project management, and communication across multiple stakeholders.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- English and Portuguese proficiency language.
- Certification and/or experience in Dangerous Goods or regulated hazardous materials compliance.
