Oilfield Specialist Role

As a key contributor to our organization, we seek an experienced Oilfield Specialist in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The successful candidate will provide technical support to our technology and service delivery organizations for completions and well intervention services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Run multiple applications of medium risk in one product line in the Completions and Wellbore Intervention.
  • Ensure supplied equipment is compatible with all other equipment used for the job.
  • Provide front-line support to customers and accurately complete all paperwork prior to or upon completion of the job.
  • Conduct business activities in accordance with Baker Hughes HSE policies, Legal Compliance requirements, and Baker Hughes Core Values.
Requirements:
  • Technical diploma and solid experience in Oilfield Services.
  • Solid experience in Completions and Well Intervention.
  • Desired knowledge in different applications of Completions and Well Intervention: Plug & Abandonment, Milling, Section Milling, Casing Exit, Wellbore Clean Up, Whipstock, and Thru-Tubing.
Preferred Skills:
  • Good knowledge of drilling and completion techniques and drilling/work over rig operations.
  • Able to work well and communicate effectively with others.
  • Ability to work varied schedules and be available for 24-hour call-outs as necessary.
  • Fluent Portuguese or desired English and Spanish advanced.
