High-Performance Database Engineer RoleWe are seeking a skilled and experienced High-Performance Database Engineer to join our team. This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining high-performance databases that can handle large volumes of data and scale with ease.The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of database architecture, design, and optimization techniques. They will be responsible for ensuring the security, integrity, and performance of our databases, as well as collaborating with engineering teams to integrate databases into applications and services.Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement high-performance databases using PostgreSQL, Oracle, ElasticSearch, Cassandra, and other technologies.
  • Ensure database security, manage user access control, and comply with data privacy regulations.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members and facilitate cross-team collaboration.
  • Develop and manage robust backup, recovery, and disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to seamlessly integrate databases into applications and services.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields.
  • Proven experience in managing high-performance, scalable databases.
  • Practical experience with Postgres, Oracle, ElasticSearch, Cassandra.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to dynamic environments.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills across multifunctional teams.
  • Proven technical leadership and mentoring abilities.
  • Ability to learn rapidly and master diverse web technologies.
  • English language proficiency is a plus.
