Geotechnical Expert for Long-Term Saudi Arabia Assignment

The company seeks a skilled Geotechnical Specialist to join their team in Saudi Arabia on a permanent, full-time basis.

This is a unique opportunity for a highly experienced professional to relocate to Saudi Arabia and contribute to the development of complex geotechnical projects. The successful candidate will have a strong background in geotechnical design, analysis, and inspection, as well as excellent communication and leadership skills.

  • Conduct detailed analyses and designs of offshore and onshore geotechnical structures using advanced software such as Plaxis and Slope W.
  • Review and provide input on engineering packages prepared by colleagues to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
  • Develop and interpret technical codes and standards for geotechnical design and construction.
  • Assess and evaluate geotechnical risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions for complex geotechnical challenges.
  • Provide training and guidance to junior engineers and specialists on geotechnical principles and practices.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering.
  • Minimum 20 years of experience in geotechnical design and consulting.
  • Professional Engineer certification or Chartered Engineer status.
  • Advanced English language skills, both written and verbal.
  • Flexibility to work in a dynamic, multicultural environment.
  • Willingness to relocate to Saudi Arabia on a full-time, permanent basis.
