Job Title: Draftsperson

As a skilled Draftsperson, you will play a vital role in transforming architectural and engineering concepts into accurate, detailed drawings that guide project teams through every phase of construction.

You will ensure that designs are clearly communicated, compliant with regulations, and efficiently executed on site. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will make you an invaluable asset to our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare detailed architectural and structural drawings for building construction projects.
  • Develop general arrangement (GA) drawings, foundation plans, sections, elevations, and detail drawings.
  • Support the design team by translating conceptual sketches and technical data into accurate CAD drawings.
  • Collaborate on the development of structural layouts, floor plans, and utility networks.
  • Update and revise designs based on feedback from engineers, architects, or site observations.
  • Ensure all drawings comply with local building codes, design standards, and project specifications.
  • Maintain organized and version-controlled drawing files within the design department.
  • Coordinate with other disciplines (electrical, mechanical) to ensure design integration and conflict resolution.
Requirements:
  • Familiarity with Revit, Civil 3D, or other BIM software is advantageous.
  • Understanding of construction methods, site logistics, and temporary works.
  • Experience with local authority drawing submissions and approval processes.
  • Bachelor's in Civil Engineering / Drafting Technology or equivalent.
  • Proven experience as a draughtsman in the building construction or architectural design industry.
  • High proficiency in AutoCAD; Revit, Civil 3D, or other BIM tools are a strong advantage.
  • Good understanding of civil and structural design principles and building systems.
  • Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple design tasks simultaneously.
