Solar Energy Project Development Manager
About the Role:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Solar Energy Project Development Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the commercial and strategic development of solar energy projects from early-stage prospecting through to financial close and handover to construction.
The role will involve working closely with our development manager, landowners, partners, and public stakeholders to identify and secure new opportunities in Brazil.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the greenfield development phase, including project origination, business planning, and securing first/anchor PPA.
- Accountable for development of brownfield solar projects until Financial Close (signature of long-term debt).
- Deliver target project financial metrics at financial close.
- Capture lessons learned from project analysis and implement improvements.
- Undergraduate degree in Engineering, Business, Economics, or related fields.
- Fluent in Portuguese and English, both spoken and written.
