Software Development Engineer

We are seeking a skilled backend software engineer to join our team. This role will involve designing and developing APIs and workers to interface with various other services in the ecosystem, ensuring they are secure, scalable, and performant.
- Develop high-quality code that adheres to best practices and contributes to technical decisions in code reviews and design discussions;
- Design and implement testing standards grounded in best practices;
- Configure and fine-tune infrastructure components to meet the needs of each application, working closely with SREs;
- Conduct load tests to understand and improve services' performance, resources usage and costs according to each use case;
- Join incident response teams to troubleshoot issues, measure impact, implement hotfixes, write post-mortems, and plan actions from post-mortems;
- Monitor engineering metrics on a daily basis;
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and other engineers;
- Communicate technical concepts and project progress effectively to non-technical stakeholders;
- Mentor less senior engineers and provide guidance as needed;
