Accounting and Auditing Specialist

This position offers a challenging opportunity for an accounting professional to join our team.

The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of accounting principles, including financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.

Responsibilities:
  • Financial Accounting:
  • Manage the preparation and review of financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements;
  • Perform journal entries, reconciliations, and account analysis as required;
  • Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts to inform business decisions.
  • External Reporting:
  • Prepare and submit external reports, including tax returns and regulatory filings;
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, including financial reporting standards;
  • Collaborate with external auditors to address audit findings and implement corrective actions.
  • General Ledger Management:
  • Oversee the maintenance of accurate and up-to-date general ledger accounts;
  • Resolve account discrepancies and ensure proper account classification;
  • Implement controls to prevent errors and ensure data integrity.
  • Internal Controls:
  • Design and implement internal controls to ensure effective financial management;
  • Monitor and report on control effectiveness and identify areas for improvement;
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Communication:
  • Provide timely and accurate financial information to stakeholders;
  • Communicate complex financial concepts in a clear and concise manner;
  • Present financial results and recommendations to senior management.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field;
  • Active certification (e.g., CPA);
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills;
  • Experience with financial planning and analysis tools;
  • Knowledge of SAP system is desirable.
