Key Role: Strategic Procurement Expertise

This pivotal role demands a highly skilled professional adept at fostering strong relationships with colleagues, crafting customer experiences that inspire unwavering loyalty and driving business success.

The most critical component of our team's prosperity, this individual must possess exceptional analytical prowess to dissect costs, negotiate intricate contract details, and develop innovative strategies to optimize vendor services and supply chain management.

Reporting on cost savings in a timely manner is crucial, encompassing tasks such as inventory management, order tracking, identifying alternative sources of supply, cataloging products and services when relevant, resolving price disputes, and executing bids and RFPs for vendors' services. Additionally, this expert will create Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to monitor vendor performance.

Duties include:

  • Developing strategic partnerships with suppliers
  • Negotiating and procuring products and services
  • Implementing supply projects and their execution
  • Analyzing pricing models and cost spreadsheets
  • Conducting market research, technical, and financial analysis of suppliers
  • Drafting contracts and analyzing them
  • Developing localized or regional purchasing plans
  • Promoting cost reduction, quality, and strategic supply initiatives
  • Consolidating supplier networks
  • Ensuring the quality and performance of suppliers
  • Supporting global and regional procurement objectives
  • Participating in product development teams through conferences, video calls, and zoom meetings

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Administration, or Engineering
  • Extensive experience in developing business-specific contracts and agreements
  • Familiarity with purchasing fundamentals
  • Advanced English language skills
