Job Description:This role involves working as a specialist responsible for parts at a leading retail outlet. Key responsibilities include promoting customer service, greeting customers in a friendly manner, and assisting with merchandise selection.
Main Responsibilities:- Follow and promote all company customer service programs to ensure excellent customer experience.
- Promptly greet retail/walk-in customers and assist them in selecting merchandise that meets their needs.
- Assist managers and/or specialists in serving professional customers as needed.
- Complete assigned training relevant to the position to stay up-to-date on best practices.
- Provide exceptional service to customers calling the store by answering calls according to company policy, looking up parts, quoting prices, recommending related items, and offering guarantees.
- Maintain accurate records of cash transactions, process exchanges and returns, and address customer complaints in a friendly manner.
- Assist with daily operational tasks such as stocking shelves, cleaning, and preparing merchandise for shipment.
- Perform various services for customers including installing wipers, testing batteries, and replacing headlight capsules (where permitted by law).
- Occasionally drive a delivery vehicle to make deliveries when business needs dictate.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and have basic knowledge of automotive parts and services.
