Our Team is Looking for a Maintenance Technician II

In this role, you will perform routine maintenance on mobile equipment in the mining industry. You will execute inspections, diagnose issues, and develop solutions to maintain optimal performance of our equipment.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform visual and predictive inspections on mobile equipment, identifying potential issues before they become major problems;
  • Conduct routine maintenance tasks, such as replacing filters, greasing moving parts, and performing lubrication checks;
  • Diagnose and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems on mobile equipment;
  • Analyze data from equipment sensors and diagnostics software to identify trends and areas for improvement;
  • Collaborate with other team members to share knowledge and best practices;
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance plans to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance;
Requirements:
  • Technical diploma or degree in mechanical, electromechanical, or electrical engineering;
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in maintenance and repair of heavy machinery and equipment;
  • Familiarity with Caterpillar (CAT) and Komatsu equipment;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP software;
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills;
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces;
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with diagnostic tools and software;
  • Knowledge of machining and fabrication principles;
  • Certification in welding and/or brazing;
