Job Description

Job Summary

The Global Client Manager (GCM) is a key role responsible for generating new revenue from the sale of high-bandwidth IP transit services and associated value-added services to large corporations, carriers, ISPs, and internet-centric companies in Brazil.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new sales opportunities in the Brazilian marketplace, providing product solutions and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain positive ongoing relationships with customers to maximize sales for the company.
  • Introduce company products and services to new and existing customers.
  • Develop and maintain accurate sales and revenue forecasts and manage quota funnels.
  • Lead the strategy and success of the customer's overall engagement with NTT, closely coordinating all activities with other functional teams within NTT.

Essential Functions/Duties

  • Develop sales in Brazil in the wholesale IP space, with a focus on carrier/ISP and content provider business.
  • Prepare commercial and technical service proposals, ensuring they are technically and commercially sound.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key business executives and other stakeholders in prospect and customer organizations.
  • Track, manage, and report ongoing activity relative to plan.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Experience in solution selling IP services to ISP/wholesale customers.
  • A track record of over-achieving sales quotas.
  • Familiarity with the unique technical requirements of IP Transit network customers.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with proficiency in Portuguese and English.
  • Ability to efficiently communicate with senior management within and outside the company.
  • Ability to prepare and deliver professionally structured and written customer proposals with limited supervision.
  • Ability to work efficiently with finance, sales engineering, legal, IP engineering resources.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, results-oriented professional.
  • Attention to detail with good organizational capabilities.
  • Ability to prioritize with good time management skills.
  • Flexibility to work outside of standard 8am-5pm US time zone hours.
  • Ability to travel as needed.

Education and Experience

  • Good knowledge of key global IP networks and service providers, Ethernet service offerings, CDN, and DDoS services.
  • Understanding of the respective strengths and weaknesses of such providers.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Good knowledge of CRM software.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of high-tech sales experience, preferably selling to wholesale consumers of bandwidth.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, finance, or related field preferred.
