Logistics Safety Manager

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in incident response, risk management, and field operations. They will be responsible for managing critical safety and security incidents across assigned regions, documenting events with accuracy, and coordinating responses across legal, operations, and leadership teams. The individual will also act as an escalation point for complex or high-severity cases.
In this role, the successful candidate will monitor local safety risks and trends in mobility, public security, and infrastructure, providing actionable guidance to local operations on incident prevention, courier safety, and area-specific threats. They will build and maintain effective working relationships with public safety agencies, traffic authorities, criminal investigation units, and labor unions, facilitating communications with external entities to resolve incidents or enable business continuity.
The Incident Response and Risk Management Specialist will support regional teams in executing safe logistics operations, especially during high-risk deployments or local activations, and provide safety planning support for new projects or regional expansions. They will promote a culture of safety and accountability across teams and field staff, coordinate internal safety campaigns, training sessions, and procedural briefings.
The specialist will analyze incident patterns and propose data-driven prevention strategies, creating and maintaining risk dashboards and contributing to the continuous improvement of internal safety protocols. They will conduct scheduled and ad hoc site visits to ensure adherence to safety protocols, identifying areas for improvement and reporting findings to senior leadership.
Requirements- Prior experience in field operations, incident management, law enforcement, corporate security, or related risk areas.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, especially under pressure.
- Experience dealing with public institutions and emergency services.
- A deep understanding of regulatory and safety frameworks.
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts or on-call as part of a 24/7 operational coverage.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to high-stress environments and rapidly changing situations.
- Fluency in Portuguese, English is an asset.
