About the Role:

The Inventory Control Specialist will be responsible for ensuring the efficient management of inventory within the Al-Futtaim Group's warehouse operations. This includes controlling product inputs and outputs, tracking shipments, and maintaining accurate stock records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inventory Control: Monitor and control inventory levels, ensuring that stock is available when needed and that stock movement is accurately tracked and maintained.
  • Stock Accuracy Checks: Conduct regular stock checks to identify and resolve any discrepancies, and ensure that damaged or defective products are properly segregated and disposed of.
  • Supply Chain Management: Collaborate with suppliers and logistics providers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Provide regular reports and analysis to management on inventory levels, stock movement, and other relevant metrics.
  • Asset Management: Oversee the management of non-merchandise assets stored within the warehouse, including equipment and supplies.

Requirements:

  • Education and Experience: 2-3 years of experience in retail stock handling or a related field, with a strong understanding of inventory management principles and practices.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in English, with a strong command of the language. Knowledge of Arabic is an asset.
