Senior Automation Test Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Automated Quality Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure the performance, reliability, and quality of our software products.
Main Responsibilities- Create and maintain end-to-end automated test scripts using Selenium and Cypress.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA team members to identify test requirements and ensure full test coverage.
- Participate in agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Execute automated and manual tests, analyze results, and report defects in a timely manner.
- Maintain and improve existing automation frameworks and integrate them with CI/CD pipelines.
- Write clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Ensure code quality by adhering to best practices in test automation and software development.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the QA and development teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Proven experience with Selenium and/or Cypress for automated testing.
- Strong programming skills in JavaScript, Python, Java, or a similar language.
- Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC), testing methodologies, and QA processes.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git.
- Proficiency in working with REST APIs and validating backend data.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication in English.
- Minimum of 2-4 years of hands-on experience in QA automation with Selenium or Cypress.
- Experience in an Agile/Scrum environment is highly preferred.
- Prior experience with performance or security testing is a plus.
- Deep understanding of web technologies, test automation patterns, and debugging techniques.
- Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills to work effectively across teams.
- Ability to adapt quickly to new tools, technologies, and testing strategies.
- High attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
- Self-motivated with a proactive mindset and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
