Software Development Leader

Our organization is seeking a highly skilled Technical Lead to oversee the development of Python and Golang micro-services that power our global software distribution engine.
The successful candidate will have experience in modern, agile software development practices and a track record of forming healthy, collaborative engineering cultures.
This is a technical leadership role that requires strong technical skills, as well as the ability to run an effective team and develop the colleagues they manage.
The Technical Lead will collaborate closely with other leaders, product managers, and architects, producing a technical roadmap with ambitious and achievable goals.
- Lead a remote team of engineers in your time zone
- Develop talent through coaching, mentoring, feedback, and hands-on career development
- Set and manage expectations with other teams, management, and external stakeholders
- Be an active part of the leadership team and collaborate with other leaders in the organization
The successful candidate will have good experience in leading modern, agile software development practices, experience in forming a healthy, collaborative engineering culture, and demonstrative experience of being a role model for sound engineering principles and directly contributing toward their team's goals.
