Job Title: Dry Blend Operator

The Dry Blend Operator is responsible for following established procedures and guidelines to fulfill in-stock orders and inventory records according to production schedules.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Prepare unused raw materials for return to the main warehouse from blend room operations.
  • Fulfill in-stock orders and maintain accurate inventory records for the warehouse.
  • Assist operators and assume production operator responsibilities during breaks and as scheduling requires.
  • Maintain a neat, orderly, and clean shop floor and workplace at all times.
  • Complete sanitation and housekeeping duties as required.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Preferred Experience
  • 1-2 years of experience in flavor, ingredient, food, or chemical manufacturing is preferred.
  • Forklift operation skills are preferred.
Skills and Qualifications
  • SAP bar coding/scanning experience is preferred.
  • RF scanner and labeling experience.
  • Basic math, reading, and recordkeeping skills.
  • Basic PC skills, including competency in MS Office products.
  • Ingredient knowledge around color, odor, order of addition, and other pertinent quality factors.
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
