Senior Language Academic Specialist

This is a key position at our online English language school where you will play a vital role in shaping the academic vision and supporting teachers to deliver high-quality education.
Main responsibilities include:
- Serving as the main point of contact for our team of teachers
- Overseeing hiring, onboarding, training, and evaluations for new staff members
- Designing and leading professional development sessions and workshops to enhance teacher skills
- Developing and maintaining methodological and pedagogical guidelines to ensure consistency across the organization
- Conducting needs analysis (placement testing) for new students to ensure they are appropriately placed in courses
- Reviewing and developing teaching materials to ensure they meet our high standards
- Driving improvements in academic quality and learning experience through strategic planning and implementation
- Fostering a positive culture among students and teachers by promoting collaboration and open communication
We are looking for a highly experienced candidate with a strong background in languages or education who can bring their expertise to this critical role. The ideal candidate should have prior experience as an English teacher and be comfortable working remotely using digital tools. This is a full-time opportunity that requires a CELTA certification or degree in Languages or Education.
