Financial Operations Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Specialist to join our team at International Medical Corps. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about finance and eager to make a meaningful contribution to a global humanitarian organization.
As a Financial Operations Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting the financial operations of our programs, ensuring compliance with donor regulations and international accounting standards.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Providing financial support to program teams, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting;
- Coordinating with logistics departments to ensure timely delivery of goods and services;
- Preparing and reviewing procurement requests and contracts;
- Ensuring accurate and timely financial data entry and record-keeping;
- Collaborating with colleagues to identify areas for process improvement and implementing changes as needed.
This is a dynamic role that requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
The ideal candidate will have a degree in Accounting or Finance, with at least 3 years of relevant experience in a similar role. You will also possess strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software such as Deltek Costpoint and Cognos.
In addition to your technical skills, you will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
This position offers a competitive salary of $60,000 - $70,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus comprehensive benefits and opportunities for professional growth and development.
Please note that this role requires flexibility and adaptability, as you may be deployed to field sites within the United States on short notice.
