About the Role

Lhr Global is seeking a highly skilled Measurement Engineer to join our Technical Support Division. As a Measurement Engineer, you will play a critical role in providing technical services related to hydrocarbon measurement and loss control.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Conduct measurement surveys and compliance reviews for our hydrocarbon measurement systems to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  2. Develop and maintain hydrocarbon measurement-related training programs for our engineers, technicians, and operators to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  3. Maintain processes to measure operating department compliance to relevant company and industry standards.
  4. Conduct technical studies and technology evaluations to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
  5. Develop and maintain operating facility policies and procedures related to hydrocarbon liquid measurement to ensure consistency and accuracy.
  6. Develop and deliver in-house training programs for engineers performing compliance reviews to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge.

Requirements

  1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering from a recognized and approved program, an advanced degree is preferred.
  2. PE or CEng certification.
  3. 10 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, with a strong background in hydrocarbon liquid systems and gas measurement.
  4. Deep knowledge of statistical tools for measurement, in particular, estimating measurement uncertainty.

Benefits

  1. Competitive monthly base salary.
  2. Monthly overbase of 25% of your monthly base salary.
  3. Benefits supplement of 20% of your monthly base salary, increasing to 25% after 3 years of service, 30% after 6 years, and 35% after 12 years.
  4. Severance package with a 2-year vest period, offering 2 weeks' pay for each year of service, increasing to 4 weeks' pay after 6 years.
  5. Employment tax benefits, allowing you to separate yourself from your 'home country' for income tax purposes, with the company not reporting income to the 'home country' governments.
