As a Field Application Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting our sales team by combining technical expertise with business acumen. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting customers in understanding our products and performing demos for various field applications;
  • Installing and configuring our systems, troubleshooting issues, and resolving problems;
  • Providing technical support to customers, offering training, and configuring services;
  • Analyzing customer requirements and ensuring our products meet their needs;
  • Collaborating with our Research and Development team to identify and resolve issues;
  • Performing troubleshooting and testing on bugs;
  • Analyzing applications and providing expert advice;
  • Maintaining knowledge of industry trends;
  • Actively traveling to clients and prospects in Brazil, supporting sales teams, and sharing technical documents;
  • Preparing and presenting technical workshops about our solutions;
  • Preparing development requests for RND and following up on the process.

Requirements for this role include:

  • 3 years of experience in the transport telematics field;
  • General knowledge of electronics and vehicle electronic systems, vehicle architecture, technologies used, and current/future trends;
  • Knowledge of automotive diagnostics, familiarity with CAN communication interface;
  • Knowledge of automotive communication protocols/interfaces (CAN, SW-CAN, LIN, K-line, PWM/VPW, UDS, OBDII);
  • Ability to offer technical solutions for business problems;
  • Ability to explain technical information to both technical and non-technical people;
  • Proficiency in Portuguese, English, and Spanish language;
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment;
  • Ability to work in a team as well as find solutions independently;
  • Technical/Sales orientation is a must.
