Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled professional to lead process improvement projects and drive scrap reduction initiatives. This role involves working closely with the team to identify and eliminate non-standard work practices, establish GKN standards, and promote process variation understanding.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead scrap reduction and process improvement projects
  • Identify and eliminate non-standard work practices
  • Understand process variation and take preventive/corrective actions
  • Conduct compliance and system effectiveness audits
  • Evaluate and report team progress toward established goals
  • Participate in Design Reviews, PFMEA, and Control Plans
  • Monitor and report quality KPIs
  • Conduct customer complaint analysis using the A3 method

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will require a strong background in production, automation, metallurgical, or mechanical engineering. Intermediate English language skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, and knowledge of lean manufacturing principles are also essential.
