Job Overview

Boeing Brazil is on the lookout for an Associate Structural Analysis Engineer who possesses a solid understanding of stress analysis techniques, engineering fundamentals, and effective coordination skills. This role will report to the Mechanical and Structural Engineering Manager and will be based in the São José dos Campos office.

As an Associate Structural Analysis Engineer, you will be part of the BR&T team, contributing to the development and support of both primary and secondary structures for the X-66 project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct fundamental structural analysis utilizing established analytical tools to assess structural characteristics and performance.
  • Assist in product design and ensure the structural integrity of components through analytical methods, finite element simulations, and other evaluation tools throughout the product lifecycle, guaranteeing safety, quality, and performance.
  • Engage with customers and stakeholders to comprehend and facilitate structural solutions.
  • Operate under general supervision.

Work Environment:

This position is expected to be fully onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work at the specified location.

Employment Eligibility:

The employer will not provide sponsorship for employment visa status.

Required Qualifications:

  • Must have the legal right to work in Brazil.
  • A degree in Engineering is mandatory.
  • Proficiency in both verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Must be registered or eligible for registration with the Engineering and Agronomy Regional Council (Conselho Regional de Engenharia e Agronomia - CREA).
  • Relevant experience in Structural Engineering is essential.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with structural analysis techniques and tools, including Hand-Calculation and Finite Element Analysis Method.
  • Familiarity with flight controls, mechanical systems, and hydraulic systems is advantageous.

Relocation Information:

Relocation assistance is not available for this position. Candidates must either reside in the immediate area or manage their own relocation expenses.

Additional Notes:

This position is intended for local hires in Brazil. Candidates must possess current legal authorization to live and work in Brazil. Compensation and benefits are determined locally and are not part of Boeing's U.S. payroll.
