Job Overview:

- Monitoring and analyzing judicial and administrative demands from existing units under supervision, as well as guidance from the responsible Lawyer and/or Legal Department.

Main Responsibilities/Activities:

  • Stay up-to-date on issues by reading specialized publications, research, and other sources;
  • Provide legal guidance to internal areas, especially civil, labor, corporate, and tax areas, seeking support from offices or writing opinions based on analysis and documentation;
  • Organize internal demands with third-party firms, following the flow of requests and returns;
  • Analyze documents sent by clients for preparing official documents, requesting necessary information from units/teams to write, review, or format legal documents;
  • Contact customers regarding negotiations, whenever requested;
  • Analyze and review commercial contracts in English and Portuguese, providing support in signing processes;
  • Ensure compliance with legislation and company policies, managing these documents;
  • Issue reports to evaluate performance and other support activities;
  • Suggest improvements to procedures to optimize them and keep them adequate and consistent;
  • Provide legal assistance and support in judicial and extrajudicial defenses;
  • Perform follow-up actions, screening documents to compose processes, possible hearings (acting as agent).
