Junior Ruby Developer

We're seeking a talented Junior Ruby Developer to join our global team of top-notch tech professionals. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining web applications using your initial Ruby skills.

You'll work on the full software development lifecycle, from designing and implementing new features to troubleshooting and debugging existing applications.

Our ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in Ruby programming, with experience working with Ruby on Rails or similar frameworks. You'll also possess excellent problem-solving skills, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for learning and growth.

In this role, you'll have the opportunity to contribute to various projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and develop your skills in areas such as code reviews, testing, and documentation.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain high-quality Ruby applications with efficient, well-structured code.
  • Collaborate with developers to understand project requirements and contribute to different stages of the software development lifecycle.
  • Troubleshoot and debug applications to improve application performance and reliability.
  • Participate actively in code reviews, applying best practices in Ruby development.
  • Work with Ruby on Rails or similar frameworks, developing a deeper understanding of MVC architecture and RESTful design.
  • Contribute to writing automated tests and documentation for Ruby applications, ensuring code reliability and maintainability.
Requirements:
  • 1+ year of experience with Ruby programming.
  • Good understanding of basic algorithms and data structures.
  • Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git.
  • Ability to solve problems effectively and learn new technologies quickly.
  • Excellent level of English communication skills.
