A skilled Machine Operator is required to maintain and operate a variety of machines and equipment, ensuring efficient production and adherence to quality and safety guidelines.
Key Responsibilities- Operate and maintain machines and equipment, utilizing hand tools as needed.
- Move materials and parts to and from work areas via power lift trucks and forklifts.
- Ensure a smooth flow of production, identifying and resolving production and technological issues.
- Ability to follow complex verbal and written instructions, with basic shop math skills.
- Comply with established guidelines and procedures, adhering to all Safety Procedures & Policy.
- Ability to read and follow route sheets/Blueprints, with a high level of organization skills.
- Train new machine operators and work well in a team environment.
- Mechanical Technician and/or more than 3 years' relevant experience.
- Experience in machining or similar field, with experience using and interpreting precision measuring instruments.
- Basic computer skills and forklift certification.
- Self-motivated and able to work in an industrial, manufacturing, construction or related environment.
