Lead Finance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Finance Specialist to join our team in Belo Horizonte or São Paulo. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A), advanced analytical skills, and fluency in English for direct interaction with US investors.

In this role, you will be responsible for owning the end-to-end finance stack, including FP&A, Investor Relations, and Controllership. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading all FP&A activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling;
  • Managing Investor Relations, preparing and presenting reports for US-based investment funds;
  • Overseeing the entire Controllership function, including closing the balance sheet and ensuring accounting accuracy;
  • Producing actionable insights to support decision-making and allocate capital for optimal ROI/ROIC;
  • Operating and integrating financial systems, including QuickBooks Online and advanced spreadsheets;
  • Implementing lightweight Business Intelligence solutions for self-service reporting;
  • Supervising potential changes in accounting providers and maintaining operational models, budgets, and forecasts;
  • Ensuring compliance with US GAAP where applicable.

You will work closely with leadership and report directly to the CEO. To be successful in this role, you will need:

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field;
  • Experience in FP&A, Controllership, investment banking, management consulting, or finance roles in high-growth, venture-backed companies;
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office;
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with Business Intelligence;
  • Fluent English, both written and spoken;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to build trust with US investors.
