**Job Description**Risk analysts are responsible for monitoring and managing market and liquidity risks associated with trading desks. They develop and maintain monitoring tools and reporting to senior management, provide formal risk opinions, and propose mitigation strategies.
Main Responsibilities:
- Measure and monitor market and liquidity risks inherent to the trading desks or activities in the direct scope of the RISK analyst
- Develop and maintain a continuous and sound dialogue with the business line as well as other functions
- Be proactive in day-to-day assessment of positions, analyze large profit/loss, and provide independent analysis and quantification of existing and new risks
- Assist in the definition, review and implementation of limits and ensure they are well monitored and reported
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Demonstrates good judgment when making decisions of high complexity and impact
- Able to build relationships with a mix of intermediate and senior colleagues or clients
- Interacts regularly with management and department leaders
- Takes full responsibility for personal actions and demonstrates courage in facing problems and conflicts
