Bellperson Assistant

At Accor Hotels, we are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Bellperson to join our team at Fairmont Austin. As a Bellperson, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences by providing timely and efficient luggage handling, message delivery, and other services.

• Ensure the Lobby and front entrance are kept clean and tidy, paying special attention to glass areas and main doors.
• Record and deliver all guest and colleague deliveries to the correct destination in a timely manner.
• Maintain a presence in the Lobby, offering assistance to guests and providing exceptional customer service.
• Undertake duties and responsibilities of the Doorman, as directed by the Guest Service Manager.
• Collect and deliver luggage to guest rooms within the standard time frame.
• Handle all guest property with extreme care and attention to detail.
• Assist with room changes and ensure all long-term guest luggage is stored correctly and logged in the correct manner.
• Direct guests to the correct destination and provide information about hotel services and amenities.
• Display a friendly, courteous, and sincere attitude towards all guests, making them feel welcome and at ease.
• Be aware of all hotel functions and services, including restaurants, bars, and amenities.
• Maintain amicable and co-operative working relations with other departments in the hotel.
• Comply with all Health and Safety legislation and working practices.

• Proficient in English (verbal and written).
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while remaining calm and collected.
• Flexibility in terms of working hours and willingness to work overnight.
• Prior experience in customer service an asset.
• Ability to lift up to 25kg.
