Job Title:

A Program Supervisor Role for Community Homes and Services

Description:

The successful candidate will oversee the daily operations of our community-based services, including supervision of program supervisors and direct support staff. They will ensure the health, safety, and welfare of individuals in their care and facilitate effective communication with management.

This position requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

The ideal candidate will have experience working directly with persons with IDD and supervisory experience, as well as a valid driver's license and good driving record.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise Program Supervisors and monitor employee performance
  • Collaborate with hiring specialists in interviewing, hiring, orienting, and training supervisors and direct support staff
  • Direct and ensure effectiveness of program's daily operations
  • Ensure the health, safety, and welfare of individuals within the program
Qualifications:

This position requires one of the following combinations of education and experience:

  • Master's degree from an accredited college or university, 1 year experience working directly with persons with IDD and 1 year supervisory experience
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, 2 years of experience working directly with persons with IDD and 1 year supervisory experience
  • Associate's degree or 60 credit hours from an accredited college or university, 4 years of experience working directly with persons with IDD and 1 year supervisory experience (except in the ICF/MR setting)
  • High school diploma or equivalency, 6 years of work experience working directly with persons with IDD and 1 year supervisory experience (except in the ICF/MR setting)
