About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated Endoscopy Practitioner (ODP) with HCPC registration to work in regular and flexible shifts at Spire Cheshire Hospital.
This is an exciting opportunity for a compassionate and skilled professional to join our team and contribute to providing exceptional patient care.
Job Description:
- Carry out clinical tasks under supervision and participate in training others to ensure seamless execution of procedures.
- Administer site intravenous access for patients requesting sedation, when competent.
- Collaborate with the team to maintain a smooth and efficient endoscopy list flow, adhering to CHEC Endoscopy SOP and other policies.
- Prepare clinical areas daily to ensure a safe and effective environment for procedures.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to meet CQC and JAG accreditation requirements through the JETs framework.
- Demonstrate a passion for patient care, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering first-class service.
- Maintain attention to detail, a willingness to learn, and good listening abilities with logical thought processes.
- Foster strong teamwork and collaboration within the department.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- HCPC registration as an ODP
- Experience working in an endoscopy department
- Strong clinical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
