The Senior Risk Manager will play a pivotal role in identifying, assessing, mitigating, and monitoring risks associated with payment processing activities. This includes operational, financial, compliance, and reputational risks.
This position requires a strong understanding of risk management principles and practices, as well as excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct regular risk assessments and develop comprehensive risk profiles for different business units and processes.
- Analyze transaction data to identify patterns and trends indicative of potential risks and implement effective mitigation strategies.
- Develop and implement robust risk mitigation controls to minimize identified risks.
- Collaborate with the IT and security teams to ensure robust cybersecurity measures are in place to protect payment data and systems.
- Develop, review, and update risk management policies and procedures to ensure alignment with industry best practices.
- Ensure all employees are aware of and adhere to risk management policies and procedures through regular training and support.
- Continuously monitor risk exposure and the effectiveness of risk mitigation measures.
- Prepare regular risk reports for senior management, highlighting key findings and recommendations.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders, including finance, operations, IT, legal, and compliance teams, to ensure a coordinated approach to risk management.
This is a hybrid position. The expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.
