We are seeking an experienced risk professional to play a critical role in implementing and supporting our strategic risk and compliance framework.
About the Role
This position is responsible for designing and implementing effective risk management strategies, identifying and mitigating risks, and reporting on business-specific risks to senior leaders and other key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement risk management policies and procedures aligned with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and assess risks, and develop mitigation strategies.
- Liaise with regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Provide risk analysis and recommendations to support business decisions.
- Participate in remediation plans to address gaps and adhere to issues management mandates.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or other relevant fields.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in risk management, compliance, or audit within a complex financial services institution.
- Proven track record of conducting and managing risk initiatives and programs.
- Prior participation in industry organizations is a plus.
